Devon County Council Waste Local Plan details (2006)

Devon County Council (2007) gave approval for the construction of an Energy-from-Waste(EfW) incinerator to be developed on this site to handle 50,000 to 60,000 tons per year of local and household residual waste. In March 2011, the Environment Agency issued a Pollution Prevention and Control certificate to operate the plant.
